1) $10 per month goes a long way
The battle to end sexual exploitation is a marathon, not a sprint.
You know the stats…untold millions of women, girls and boys worldwide are victimized by sex trafficking, sexual assault and the porn industry each day. We’ve got a responsibility to do something about it.
Progress is being made in strides by NGO’s, governments and public action, but there’s still much to do…and not because there aren’t enough people willing to do the hard work or rescuing, healing and prosecuting but because the one’s that are working are all under-funded. Sexual exploitation is a money problem, and part of it can be reduced by a money solution.
Here’s a place to start:
We’re asking you to give us $10 a month.
Our staff gives up stuff like Netflix, Chick-fil-a and Starbucks. For you, it might be meal out. Whatever you decide, we’re asking that you take the money you would have spent and donate it to Unearthed. Every time we receive a donation, we give it away to strategic organizations all over the world who are working to free women and children from the horrors of sexual exploitation and give them a better life.

Your small sacrifice goes to finance undercover rescue operations, safe-house expenses, education, prevention, demand reduction, prosecutions, legal fees, trauma counseling, job training and micro loans. Your contribution will literally change lives. We’ve been doing this a little over a year now and the results have been incredible!

Our e-newsletter and video updates will be sent out to fill you in on which organization you equipped each month and the specific work that was done. As we travel and film, we’ll also be documenting new needs that we encounter along the way.

The NHTRC is a national, 24-hour, toll-free, anti-trafficking hotline operated and implemented by Polaris Project and funded by the Department of Health and Human Services. The NHTRC works to improve the national response to protect victims of human trafficking in the U.S and maintains a national database of anti-trafficking agencies as well as a library of available anti-trafficking resources and materials.
